They may or may not identify as transgender

It is imperative to note that while some femboys identify as transgender, this isn’t a requirement of the identity.

Femboys can be cisgender or transgender and can also be any gender identity.

It is important to remember that no two femboys are alike and that everyone’s experience of gender expression and identity is unique.

I am a Femboy who identifies as a transgender man, but my experience differs from someone who may identify as genderqueer or non-binary.

We each have our journey, and we should be celebrated for our expressions of gender.

Regardless of your identity as a Femboy, always remember that you are valid and deserve respect for who you are.

Femboys have a lot to offer the world, and I am contented to be a part of this unique gender identity!

Femboys often have an androgynous appearance.

Most Femboys I have interacted with or know of tend to have an androgynous appearance.

This often consists of short or shaved hair and a wardrobe that is a mix of traditional masculine and feminine styles.

The idea is to create a look that doesn’t necessarily fit into society’s definition of male or female but still portrays confidence and creativity.  

Even though most Femboys have an androgynous look, this is not a requirement of the identity.

There is no one-size-fits-all regarding gender expression, and everyone should be free to choose what makes them feel comfortable in their skin.

Personally, I like to mix masculine and feminine elements in my wardrobe, and I love experimenting with different makeup styles.

Even though I may not look like the traditional version of a man, I am still poised in who I am and how I present myself to the world. 

Femboys are unique and often misunderstood, but that doesn’t mean we should stay silent.

Do you often find yourself playing the role of the “mom” in your friend group, or are you always the first to volunteer for tasks like cooking or cleaning? If so, you may be a Femboy!

Many femboys enjoy taking on traditionally “female” roles and tasks in their day-to-day lives.

This can look like anything from being the “mom” of your friend group to volunteering for chores around the house.

It is all about embracing what you are good at and not being afraid to show it!

It’s just another way of expressing my identity and feeling comfortable in my skin.

We can be unapologetically ourselves, which is something to be proud of!

I also have friends who are Femboys who are just as passionate about fashion and makeup. We often take inspiration from each other and explore ways to express ourselves through our style.
