There’s no such thing as age restrictions for cross-dressing. Anyone can start, but their journeys become easier with proper guidance. New crossdressers often see the more experienced ones as an example to follow. But some of us may not know how to be a good example for them.

Well, you must show the newcomers confidence, and help them understand that cross-dressing should be a pleasant thing. Being an example, you’re responsible for introducing the new generation of cross-dressers to some stuff we know well. This way, you can inspire them to make progress and improve their self-esteem.

4. Be patient with newcomers

Beginner cross-dressers are eager to learn, as they want to complete their transformations as soon as possible. They want to discover new techniques and put them into practice right after. But sometimes, they can be too eager, especially if they have no previous experience at all. In that case, they might ask you a lot of questions about basic cross-dressing stuff that you excel at. If you want to be seen as a good example, you must be patient and answer as many questions as possible. That’s because some cross-dressers have no other means to learn this stuff, and trust you enough to share their insecurities. If you don’t know all of the answers, you can direct them to safe blogs and forums, where they may find useful tutorials. But avoid neglecting them at all costs, since it may end up ruining their confidence.

5. Help to break taboos when possible

As an experienced cross-dresser, you may know the differences between different gender expressions. Besides that, you are more likely to understand that sexual orientation has nothing to do with gender identity. But these themes are still taboos in many countries. As a result, newbies may have a hard time differentiating these terms. They end up getting confused over who they are, and what are their motives to crossdress. And as such, their journeys are off to a rough start. So, to keep being an example to them, you should openly discuss these themes, breaking the taboos. It spreads knowledge and helps them to understand who they are on the inside. And in several cases, you’ll be the only one who can do that for them.
