How to Feel Feminine Through Your Day
We tend to get a good feeling out of cross-dressing. There are many reasons for cross-dressing, and the motivation varies from one person to another. But in general, we like what we’re doing, and that’s why we keep doing it. Being able to be ourselves and unleash our feminine side is quite rewarding for us altogether. And with that in mind, the desire to carry this feeling through your day is common and comprehensible. The problem is that many of our sisters don’t know how to do so. And as a result, they see themselves limited to small cross-dressing sessions.
To extend this sensation, allowing yourself to feel feminine all day long, you can try some strategies. The idea is to take either a subtle or definitive approach, depending on your goals. But as long as you keep something to remind you of your femininity, you can preserve this feeling.
Hence, my objective within this article is to point out what can remind you of that. There are techniques, outfits, and habits that can do so, ensuring you keep feeling feminine. I’ll talk about as many of them as possible, so to give you an idea of what to do.
1. Adopt a self-care feminization routine
Much of the modern idea of femininity is associated with some self-care routines. As such, people picture women as having smooth skin and a more delicate appearance overall. Men, on the other hand, are depicted with much more body hair and a rough or strong frame. I’m not saying that women should try and match such expectations. However, seeking them as a cross-dresser may allow you to feel more feminine. So to help you with that, here are a few things you can fit into your daily life to create such a routine.
● Skincare
The feminine beauty standards for the last 100 years tend to include soft skin. With that in mind, a cross-dresser may feel more like a woman by getting familiar with a few skincare techniques. First, get rid of your beard and mustache, by shaving every three or four days, depending on how fast it grows back. You should also exfoliate with creams and powders, to help your face stay smooth. That’s because dead cells build up on your skin, creating a rough surface. Exfoliating helps you get rid of them, smoothening your skin in the process.
I also recommend you start using anti-acne soap to wash your face, as it has more than a single benefit. Testosterone, which is a masculine hormone, increases the rate of acne, relating it to the idea of masculinity. It reduces the oiliness of your skin, making it look more delicate. But it also helps it become effectively smoother by controlling the acne to some degree.
● Shaving
Shaving certain parts of your body, other than your face, may also be beneficial. Start with your arms and legs, which are more visible, and gradually proceed to shaving as much as possible. It is natural for men to have way more hair than women. Not only that, but masculine hair is often thicker and more apparent. Whit that in mind, shaving can help you feel more feminine, as your amount of body hair will be closer to that of a woman. But there’s a way to feel even more of the cross-dressing thrill after shaving.
Make sure you apply moisturizing creams, so you can keep your skin smooth and well-hydrated. It will add yet another layer of delicacy and beauty to it, further increasing its similarities to the feminine beauty standards.
● Let your hair grow
It may be a bit complicated to talk about hair here. The length of your hair has very little implications on gender nowadays. It is rather common for men to use long hair, and for women to prefer shorter haircuts. Then why do cross-dressers use wigs most of the time? Well, it has more to do with the style than the actual length. But letting your hair grow may still be an option to help you feel feminine during the day. You see, it’s hard to style shorter haircuts because there’s not much to work with. Even though some short unisex hairstyles may look quite feminine, they are still limited by the amount of hair you have. But if you leave it to grow for a few months, a good hairdresser may be able to give you even more options for feminine hairstyles. That’s because they will have more material to work with.
2. Crossdress in a subtle, yet meaningful way
One of the most effective ways to feel feminine throughout the day is to cross-dress all day long. But if you want to avoid getting caught while doing so, you must dress up in a subtle, yet meaningful way. Thinking of that, here are two ways in which you can dress up in front of everyone without raising any kind of suspicion.
● Subtle feminine clothes
Some clothes lean more on the gender-neutral side of things, despite being marketed towards women. These are generally t-shirts, skinny jeans, or even workplace outfits. If you happen to wear them in public, no one will notice or even bat na eye. But you, on the other hand, will know exactly what you are wearing. And because of that, these clothes will help you remember your inner femininity whenever you look at them.
● Underwear
This method is even more effective, despite being more subtle as well. Be it full lingerie, or even a simple panty, female underwear is quite powerful and makes us feel more feminine instantly. They are, in other words, a symbol of femininity, and serve as a constant reminder ntend female side. But make sure you choose it according to your necessities and try to prioritize comfort. You should also notice that a bra may be difficult to conceal, especially in light-toned clothes. So if you ntendo n going unnoticed, try darker clothes and bras with no underwire.
3. Sleep in feminine clothes
If you desire to feel like and be perceived as a woman 24/7, you might as well go to sleep like one. However, I wouldn’t recommend sleeping with ake-up, shapewear, or a wig on. Using ake-up overnight harms your skin and sleeping with the former two products may damage them. So to preserve the feeling of femininity while you go to bed, try using women’s pajamas, loungewear, or comfortable feminine underwear.
4. Think like a woman
Try to align your thoughts with those of women around you. Before you do anything, consider what would be the more feminine approach to this situation. Make sure you exercise such thoughts, so you behave more and more like a woman. My general orientation for that is to act more delicately, being gentle and cautious. Cross your legs while sitting, and walk in a more feminine manner. It’s both a matter of body language and etiquette, although it relies a bit on stereotypes. To add a bit more realism to that, look around and try to replicate the mannerisms of women around you. But avoid doing so in front of them if you want to avoid suspicions. That could be somewhat creepy if overdone.
5. Spend less time with men and more with women
Your circle of friends has a huge influence on the way you perceive yourself. You tend to identify with the people around you and to feel arto f a group. So, if arto f your friends are males, chances are that your attention will be directed towards your masculine features. With that in mind, if your goal is to feel more feminine, you should try to arto f more with women rather than with men. Start by befriending some female coworkers or classmates, and bond with their friendship circle. But avoid flirting with them if possible, at least for now. What you want is to get close enough to them so that you feel like arto f their group. This is more than a way of feeling feminine around other women. You can also use that as a learning experience to improve your feminine mannerisms.
6. Engage in feminine activities
To feel more like a woman during your day, do some activities which are associated with femininity. You may, for example, start frequenting some beauty salons and ipi st with other women there. Go shopping with some female friends if possible, start doing manicures and spend more time taking care of yourself. Another good ipi s to practice taking selfies of yourself while dressed up. Whatever you choose to do, make sure it’s something that helps you remember how feminine you can be. It’s a personal thing, so there’s no problem if that’s stereotypical stuff.
As for our conclusion, we can notice that cross-dressing doesn’t have to be limited. Most of our sisters still cross-dress during specific sessions, but there’s no reason for us not to dress up beyond that. We do so because we like feeling feminine, no matter the time of the day. These techniques allow you to keep in touch with your inner woman all day, prolonging the feeling you get while you dress up. But if you’re a trans person, consider some more permanent end effective treatments, such as HRT and feminization surgeries. What was the longest period in which you felt feminine? Describe your experience in the comments below!
