Why You Shouldn’t Get Rid of Your Cross-Dressing Stuff
Being a cross-dresser is not easy. Our lifestyle can be quite stressful if we live around people that don’t understand us.
As such, we sometimes feel compelled to give up and throw everything away.
Keep in mind that dressing up is a way of expressing our true selves, and giving up on that may result in you living a lie.
Because of that, I want to explain why you shouldn’t simply get rid of your cross-dressing stuff.
You may regret doing so since it’s a waste of money, and you are likely to change your mind afterward.
Still, if you have no other choices, you can help other cross-dressers.
I’ll explain all of that in this article, so make sure you read it until the end!
1. There might be further opportunities
Sometimes, the crisis begins with us being unable to dress up for a long time.
The abstinence leads us to question our life choices and wonder if we really are supposed to cross-dress.
But don’t be fooled by your own thoughts. Everything is temporary, including those dark times in which we can’t dress up.
You are grateful to have further opportunities to cross-dress, and when the day comes, your supplies will be handy.
What I mean is that you don’t have to dress up every day to be a legitimate cross-dresser.
Keep your clothes and makeup in storage until you manage to be more active in the hobby.
If you do that, instead of throwing everything away, you’ll be prepared for when it happens.
2. You should preserve your identity
Your identity is defined by way too many things to keep a record of.
But every single aspect of it is what makes you unique, so they are all important.
And if you happen to be a cross-dresser, you should accept and preserve this part of your identity.
It’s normal to be ashamed of it sometimes since cross-dressing is a taboo in so many countries.
But that’s other people’s problem. In fact, it’s a particular problem called intolerance.
But there’s nothing wrong with you for being a cross-dresser.
It is not your fault that some people don’t understand you, and they are the ones that should be ashamed.
With that in mind, you shouldn’t let their opinions influence you.
Throwing your cross-dressing wardrobe away would just be an excuse to fit on standards built on bigotry.
And those standards tend to erase our identity if it doesn’t fit.
Keeping your stuff signifies that you won’t stand for that nonsense.
It shows that you’re willing to preserve your identity and everything else that makes you unique and special.
3. Store Cross-dressing Stuffs for after the crisis is gone
If the pressure is too much for you to bear, lay low for a while.
On the first topic, I suggested you store your stuff until better opportunities to dress up appear.
And this same advice is valid for other types of Crysis.
For example, if someone discovers about your cross-dressing habits or if you’re forced to come out.
Many of these situations can be solved with dialogue instead of impulse.
So if that ever happens to you, don’t panic. Don’t throw your stuff away in the act of despair.
It will only make things worse.
As it’s a crisis we’re talking about, it is very probable that you won’t be thinking straight, and the chances are that you’ll regret any rash actions.
Instead, hide your stuff in the safest spot you can think of until everything settles down.
Sometimes, people only need time to think and process information.
And after they do, I’m sure you’ll still want to have your cross-dressing supplies with you.
4. Throwing Cross-dressing Stuffs away Would be A Waste
Remember that you had to pay actual money for everything you used to cross-dress.
And this kind of supply tends to be expensive, especially if you have been building a stash over the years.
This alone makes throwing stuff away a big waste of money.
But you’ll be wasting a lot of time and effort as well.
Think of all the measurements you had to take and how hard it was to build enough confidence to buy that stuff.
It’s part of your journey not only as a cross-dresser but as a person in general.
Because of that, I recommend you keep all your stuff if possible, preserving your history of growth as a human being.
Getting rid of it would render all of your previous efforts useless, and everything would’ve been in vain.
You should try to find other alternatives whenever possible.
Some such as coming out or explaining how cross-dressing is a harmless activity.
And if you ever have an identity crisis about it, remember the previous topics!
5. What to do if you don’t have a choice
Sometimes, however, we find ourselves cornered.
This is way more common with younger cross-dressers from conservative households that get caught.
And there’s no easy way out of this kind of situation.
For many reasons, some of us won’t have a choice and will have to get rid of our cross-dressing supplies one way or another.
Still, throwing your stuff away might not be the best approach since it will be a waste, as discussed previously.
But what should you do if you don’t get to choose?
The answer is to find the most effective way to dispose of your stuff.
My best advice is to sell it to thrift stores so that you can recover part of your money.
Another good idea, however, is to pass it on to another cross-dresser.
You might sell it to them directly or donate it.
That would also preserve your efforts since you’ll be helping the cross-dressing community to grow and stay strong.
I also recommend you keep the money for when new cross-dressing opportunities arrive.
This way, you can use it to buy more supplies after you get more freedom.
Whatever happens, it shall be temporary, so don’t lose hope if you find yourself in a situation like that.
As you can see, getting rid of your cross-dressing stuff is not the best idea.
Many different scenarios can lead someone to consider that.
But in most cases, its possible to find an alternative.
Be it through dialogue or patience; you might be able to avoid wasting all the effort you put into it.
Being a cross-dresser means adapting to the adversities and difficulties that life throws at us, so don’t give up on your identity!

Established in 2009, We are a recognized manufacturer and seller of professional crossdressing products.
It is our aim to become not just the most creative manufacturer but also a very considerate seller, as we provide the best quality products for crossdressers all around the world.
I have purged twice and regretted it each time. I have learned the urge to dress will always be there. I have now started to rebuild my wardrobe. Unfortunately there are items of clothing that are no longer for sale. I now miss those cute booties for the dress that looked and fitted just right. Take your time when you get frustrated. do not do anything rash. Do not purge as I have done and many others have. Pack the items away in boxes and when you are more relaxed and with a clearer mind, you can pull the items back out out storage and go from there.
Hope this helps.
