TABLE OF CONTENTS
1. Working From Home
Since COVID-19 struck a lot of jobs had to restructure to allow people to work from home and maybe you were one of the lucky ones that didn’t have to deal with traffic for a while. Even though most jobs are returning to normality, it is clear that the way we see work has changed forever. Many corporations are worried that workers don’t feel like an integral part of the company and are trying to get everyone to go back to their offices. So it seems that for the most part, home offices are over. But that’s not entirely true. There are many companies that allow you to work from home where you can dress however you like. There are many office jobs that offer this possibility, it’s a matter of finding the right place to work. But if you don’t live in a city where this can be done, then maybe you have to look for something online like on my next option.
2. Scoring a Job as a Freelancer
One of the most versatile and broad options is to look online for a freelancing job. You can find jobs as a translator, accountor, office clerk, virtual assistant, content writer, editor, programmer, and the list goes on and one. There are many sites where you can start looking for a job such as Upwork, Freelancer, RemoteTasks are just some of them. The variety of jobs that you’ll find here will blow your mind. Just a quick browse through these pages and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
All of the jobs on these websites will allow you to work from the comfort of your home and dress in the most beautiful outfits like you always wanted. You just have to find a job that suits your skills and that pays well. Some of the platforms may be a little confusing at first but I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it in no time and, once you do, you’ll be surprised at how easy it is to work from wherever you want and dress how you want! You just have to take the first step, I know you can do this.
3. A Career in the Technology Field
The tech field is a massive one that’s growing more and more everyday. Whether you know how to program in any language, design or have experience in customer service, tech companies are the most likely to have positions available to work from home. I suggest you start looking for jobs on websites of brands that you know and love. That will definitely give you a jumpstart in your interview as you know how to use and the secrets of the technology in question.
Another great option to find a job in the technology field would be something that has to do with cryptocurrencies. You can either learn how to program in the most famous networks, like Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain, or go with a more traditional position providing customer service. Crypto hasn’t stopped growing for the last ten years and more precisely, in the last two, it has become a matter of global importance and with it many jobs are available with the flexibility we are looking for to work from home.
Besides, most of the jobs in this field are really well paid, so it makes a great option if not the best financially speaking. Most exchange services like Coinbase, Binance or Uniswap, to name a few, have a lot of job openings for you to choose the field where you think you are going to perform your best. Get your Curriculum Vitae ready and start applying!
4. Job Options in the Fashion Industry
Perhaps the most obvious option, the fashion industry has always been more tolerant and accepting of different lifestyles. In this field you are going to find many jobs that range from assistant, designer, hairdresser, manicurist, makeup artist and the list goes on and on. If you don’t have the experience to apply to any of these, you can always start a course and be very clear with your potential future employer that you want to develop these skills and why you are looking for a position in the industry. Most places are very tolerant and will have no problem with you dressing en femme at work.
Besides, learning these skills will help you look even more feminine and achieve the looks that you long for! While you are developing your technique in whichever specialty you want, you can fill in for an administrative position in spa centers or beauty schools, that way you’ll not be only earning some cash, but also, you’ll be dressing however you want in a tolerant ambient and learning a new skill for your professional career!
5. Working in a Drag Bar
Another really obvious option, but clearly not for anyone who’s shy. If there’s any job that encourages you to act and dress as a woman, it’s definitely as a drag queen or female impersonator. Of course, you are going to need some artistic inclination and have no problem with being dressed to the nines in public. Working in a drag queen club as a bartender or waitress may help you start this transition slowly. Even though you’d still be dressed as a woman in a crowded place, you won’t be in the spotlight as an artist if that gives you anxiety.
Either way, it’s a great option to start working somewhere that allows you to dress in feminine garments and lose the shyness that may come with this lifestyle. If the nightlife is your cup of tea, this option checks all the boxes for the perfect job for crossdressers! You may have to move to the city where these kinds of places are more popular and always looking for new applicants.
6. Art
And lastly, the art industry is another niché where alternative lifestyles are welcomed for the most part. Either as an artist or as an administrative worker in some art gallery or record label, there are great opportunities here. Being an artist in this day and age, and making a living out of it, may not be so easy without the proper background or connections, but the industry hasn’t stopped growing, and that means that jobs are being created everyday. Scoring a job in this field will get you closer to the scene if you always felt attracted to it. These kinds of activities are more available in big cities rather than in towns and countryside, so you might consider moving if you want to pursue your dreams in this industry.
As you can see, there are a lot of jobs, and even more each day, that allow you to live and work as you wish. Thanks to technology, it has become easier to work from your home for someone on the other side of the world. And the change of paradigm it’s becoming clearer everyday. Not only that, but as we are growing as a more tolerant society, jobs for crossdressers/trans/non-bi are becoming more available not only in the fields mentioned above, as well as traditional jobs are being less reticent to contract people like us.
So, what do you think of the job opportunities here? Did I miss any field where we can work without compromising our fashion sense? Do you work and dress full-time? If so, I would love to know in the comments what you do! I’d love to read your experience.
Keeping your hopes up and taking small steps towards the life you want to live is essential for you to strive financially, professionally, and personally. Don’t let a small pebble get in your way to keep you from being happy! I hope I have been of some help and that this post has inspired you to pursue your dream life! See you all very soon!

I love crossdressing
I’m TV/ crossdresser living in Clacton on Sea,I really don’t get to dress as much as I would like to. Preferably looking for part time really,I’ve a TV strippergram so I’d be happy to do that or just being any environment that would enable me to dress more.
Masking successfully in Calgary isn’t difficult, they only see what they want to see. From behind I’m female, but otherwise you couldn’t make that ?mistake?. I wish I could flaunt my sexual self openly, be the tease of the … but more importantly feel safe in my work. I don’t know what job would best suit a sissy like me, but the ideas are endless.
