As crossdressers, we all know how our hobby becomes more challenging when we don’t have an outlet or a support system to rely on.

Thankfully, different transgender support agencies and local crossdressing services are widespread worldwide.

If you are a crossdresser based in the Philippines and are looking for a haven, fret no more!

My friends in the Philippines have shared their experiences meeting different support groups and drag queens who are very encouraging of what they do.

I have also met some of them, and I definitely enjoyed opening up to them.

1. Transgender Support Agencies

My Filipino friends have shared that transgender support agencies are legitimate and are non-profit organizations aiming to eradicate discrimination and inequality among the LGBT+ community.

These agencies are the perfect companion when you want to share your crossdressing life.

◆ Transgender COLORS, Inc.

Transgender COLORS, Inc. is a non-political and non-stock transgender organization located in Cebu City.

The members of this organization are all about non-discrimination and equality on sexuality and transgenderism.

If you are based in Cebu, I suggest visiting their headquarters to speak directly with any member and share your stories on crossdressing.

My friends can attest to how friendly and approachable they are!

You’ll certainly feel welcomed and comfortable when you talk to them.

However, even if you don’t live in Cebu, this should not stop you from reaching out to them.

◆ Association of Transgender People in the Philippines

Another transgender community you can reach out to is the Association of Transgender People in the Philippines.

This transgender group started as a Facebook fan page before it grew into today’s community.

One of my crossdresser friends is a member of this group, and according to him, this group is certainly all about transgender empowerment!

Anyone is welcome to join, as long as your gender is different from the sex assigned to you at birth or you don’t belong to the standard gender binary paradigm.

◆ Society of Transsexual Women of the Philippines (STRAP)

Founded in 2002, the Society of Transsexual Women of the Philippines consists of transgender people devoted to gender justice and equality advocates.

This non-profit organization has launched several successful campaigns: the International Transgender Day of Remembrance and the yearly Pride March.

Some of my friends were lucky enough to join the pride march last year and trust me, they certainly had fun!

According to them, the Pride March was a nice way to stand tall and be proud of our gender identity.

2. Famous Drag Bars

Aside from transgender support agencies, famous drag bars are also widespread in the Philippines.

These drag bars are perfect places where you can crossdress peacefully and embrace your true identity!

◆ O Bar

When I had my vacation in the Philippines five years ago, I was fortunate to have had the chance to visit O Bar.

I swear, it’s’ one of the best nightclubs I have been to in the world!

O Bar features drag queens and sexy male dancers, where you’ll definitely enjoy hanging with your crossdresser friends after a day full of work.

This famous nightclub, located in Ortigas, is a very spacious club with live entertainment and a dancefloor where you can groove to the beat of O Bar’s’ spectacular music.

The entrance fee starts at P500, which entitles you to three beers and a cocktail of your choice.

◆ Nectar

While I did not go to Nectar, it’s’ one of the nightclubs that showed up when I searched for the best drag bars in the Philippines.

This is a luxurious drag club located in Bonifacio Global City, and it’s’ where you can crossdress in your best outfit while dancing to the beats of the DJ.

My friend who has been here suggested ordering an entire bottle when you’re with friends and just splitting the bill because drinks are a bit pricey.

◆ Club Mwah!

Club Mwah is another famous nightclub in Mandaluyong, Philippines, that showcases drag queens and live entertainment.

It’s’ a perfect place to go when you want to crossdress and enjoy a night out with your friends!

From my experience, the drag queen hosts are very approachable, and I even received complimentary drinks as a first-time visitor.

I instantly loved Club Mwah because of its ambiance, food, and liquor.

My friends also enjoyed several spoof performances by different drag queens.

This shop is accessible through their Lazada page. However, the products are more limited.

U-charm mostly sells fake silicone breasts in different sizes.

Looking at product photos, they look real and legit.

There are also many product reviews mentioning how satisfied and happy they are with the purchases they made!

4. Drag Queens and Other Famous Icons

Famous icons and drag queens in the Philippines have also been active members of the LGBTQ+ community.

I was fortunate enough to have met the people listed below, and I swear, talking to them was very comforting.

I immediately feel more proud of my crossdressing after interacting with them!

If you need a make-up artist or a stylist for your beauty transformation, don’t miss out on booking and hiring TOWPS YORO.

She is a gender-fluid artist in Marikina who advocates against gender discrimination and the unjust system.

During my short stay in the Philippines, I hired her for one of my events, and she certainly did not disappoint!

Eva Le Queen is a famous drag queen who strongly advocates the importance of drag entertainment in helping us showcase our true selves.

She loves co-producing and hosting online drag shows and parties to bring more drag artists together.

I met Eva through a drag event two years ago, and she was very vocal about her love for crossdressing.

We talked all night about my crossdressing journey, and I just loved how focused she was as I shared my stories!

◆ Marina Summers

Another interesting drag queen icon I met was Marina Summers.

She is a co-founder of Drag Playhouse PH, an entertainment company showcasing drag queens and their amazing talents.

Marina Summers also previously worked as a TV producer who featured several Filipino drag queens.

Talking to Marina Summers was like talking to a sister!

She was very kind and even gave me tips on how I could improve on my crossdressing.

The best part is she recommended other crossdress stores I can try out when I need to shop for my outfits!

Our crossdressing experiences speak greatly of our achievements in discovering our identities.
