Overall, her performance in this movie is excellent, and it is definitely worth watching.
Some of the incidences where Natalie crossdressed include the following:
- When she first meets Evey, she is wearing a suit and tie. This dress code is very typical of men, and it helps to emphasize her crossdressing role.
- She also wears a dress that is very manly in style. It has a strong geometric pattern, and it is not at all feminine in design.
- She also dons a pair of shades and a hat when she goes out to meet with the other revolutionaries. This outfit is very similar to what one might see a man wearing on the street.
- She also wears a suit when she goes to talk to Creedy. The suit she wore was very plain and bland, and it helped her to blend in with the other people in the room. The suit also brought some masculine elements to her overall look.
- Finally, she dresses up as Guy Fawkes for the climactic scene. Natalie wore a very accurate replica of Fawkes’ outfit, and she looked great in it. This scene is definitely one of the highlights of the movie.
3. Helena Bonham Carter in “Fight Club”
The Fight Club film is a 1999 American drama film based on the 1996 book of a similar name by Chuck Palahniuk.
Directed by David Fincher, the film leads Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, and Helena Bonham Carter.
It tells the story of an insomniac office worker who starts attending support groups to find relief from his life.
He then meets Tyler Durden, played by Pitt, who introduces him to fight clubs where men can express their frustrations.
The film had many characters, among them Helena Bonham Carter, who played the role of Marla Singer.
Marla Singer is a woman who attends support groups for various illnesses that she does not have.
She meets the Narrator (Edward Norton) and Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) at one of these groups and quickly becomes involved with their fight club.
Marla is not interested in fighting or rebelling against society; she just wants to find a way to cope.

The crossdressing scenes in the film were Jolie’s idea; in an interview with MTV, she stated, “I desired to do something slightly different.

I think this is applying the term very loosely. Most of these characters were only wearing disguises to escape capture or death. Not as a gender identity. The only real exception would be Marla in Fight Club. But for that to work, you have to take the opinion that she was another figment of Ed Norton’s imagination. Although the writers have explained many times that Marla was a real woman who was actually in love with the Tyler Durden persona, and not a feminine side of “the narrator”
