All of these creators are LGBTQ+ friendly and talk about topics that are of interest to the community.

1. Making Gay History

This is a great place to start if you are not very acquainted with LGBTQ+ history.

This series started with Eric Marcus’s audio recordings of both consecrated and unsung heroes of past years.

This podcast is perfect for learning all about historic events and listening to many different voices from the community.

You will hear guests telling their life stories in the most intimate way and from their point of view.

Making Gay History is a non-profit organization and you can donate to them if you want to contribute to the cause!

They are coming back next June 6th with a whole new season.

Inspired by International Pride Month, they will dedicate the next series of episodes to the events of the “Stonewall Riots” told from the perspective of participants.

2. Queery

If you are in the mood for some comedic content instead to keep you company, Queery is perfect for you.

This podcast features hour-long conversations between the host and the trending comedian.

Cameron Esposito is the host of the show and will surely make you laugh while you work or during your lunch break.

One of the things I loved the most about this podcast is how many different voices are involved in the conversation.

You can learn all about queer culture with this amazing and entertaining show.

But not everything is laugh, gals. You will hear the latest news and the hottest political topics concerning the LGBTQ+ community.

4. Adventures in Time and Gender

Another documentary-ish show that’s very fun and comforting to listen to.

This podcast aims to illustrate that there have always been trans folks in history.

This project is funded by The Wellcome Trust to promote the historic events and technological advances that got us to where we are today.

You can expect to hear a lot of sexology and gender topics being discussed.

Not only that but also with an insightful appreciation to understand better what was going on at that time.

Obviously, the show’s hosts will contrast any given mindset to where we stand today.

A detailed analysis of the current situation of the LGBTQ+ right around the world and of past ages too! I found it delightful!

5. Queer AF

This is one of the best podcasts you can listen to while you work.

What if I told you even when you think everything’s lost, there is still hope.

Queer AF is a show that opens its mics for LGBTQ+ artists and entrepreneurs to tell their inspiring stories.

You will not only find a company with this show but also gain the strength to carry on and continue working towards your goals!

This is the empirical evidence that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.

From the voice of LGBTQ+ youth, these raw life stories will have you shifting through many emotions at the same time.
