All these things will be also useful if you are a crossdresser and you are looking for a new job closer to your lifestyle and interests. Being a drag queen has always been about breaking down established stereotypes. With that in mind, if this is what you want, then go for it! Don’t pay attention to naysayers and haters. If you want to do drag, then surround yourself with supportive people. Being a drag queen is a form of expression and performance. Don’t let people tell you you can’t do drag because of your gender, whatever it is. Because there will be detractors in the way, pay no mind to them and focus on your art and positive thoughts.

The best way to keep the determination through your journey is by being surrounded by a supportive environment. Call it friends, family, and the local community. Almost every big city around the world has a drag club or similar. If you are interested, you can always find out where the nearest one is and ask for advice. I’m sure they’ll invite you to one of their shows and even asked to take part in it! With the help of this post and your local community’s guidance will become the fairest of ‘em all! There aren’t any rules written in stone in regards to this, but it is easy to feel inclined to the person and character you will be performing on stage. Colors and edibles are also good options. All is fair here, just make sure the name truly moves you and inspires you to perform.

6. Become a Makeup Expert

Secret to none, drag queens uses a lot of makeup. So it is recommended that you start practicing as much as you can. You must start from the basics and take care of your skin for a better makeup application and a healthier look. Search on the web where the nearest one is and plan an escapade to the city to make your debut! Go to the drag club or meeting and get in touch with the managers or administrators beforehand to make sure your experience is fantastic!
